Washington Capitals goaltender Brent Johnson attended Kids Day at Kettler Capitals Iceplex on Sunday, June 10. Johnson signed autographs and took photos with fans at the event, which was devoted entirely to kids.

“It’s great to be able to give back to the kids,” Johnson said. “It’s nice to see so many people skating and enjoying our training facility.”

Capitals mascot Slapshot also made an appearance at Kids Day and hundreds of children participated in the on-ice skating and hockey demonstrations. The kids were also treated to free pizza, face painting and animal balloons as part of the day’s exciting festivities.
