Washington Capitals
The Washington Capitals raised $10,575 through the team’s Fall Puck Surprise, which took place at the Caps game against the Penguins on Oct. 20. The fundraiser featured more than 400 pucks that were packaged with chocolate and signed by various Capitals players and sold for $25 a piece. The pucks went on sale when doors to Verizon Center opened at 6 p.m. and were sold out by 7:15 p.m.

Congratulations to the Fall Puck Surprise winners: Toni Trombecky, Charles Pannunzio, Kevin Crochetiere, John Stortz and Angel Tirone. The winners all selected unsigned pucks and got to meet Tom Poti after the game. Poti signed the winners’ pucks and took photos with them.
