Capitals and Wizards Players to Visit Troops at Andrews Air Force Base, Tuesday, Nov. 13
ARLINGTON, Va. – Members of the Washington Capitals and Washington Wizards will visit Andrews Air Force Base on Tuesday, Nov. 13, to serve a pre-holiday meal and visit wounded heroes returning to the United States from Iraq and Afghanistan.
Members of both teams will serve the evening meal and sign autographs for enlisted troops at the Freedom Hall Dining Hall beginning at 3:30 p.m. The group will also tour the Aeromedical Staging Facility at Malcolm Grow Medical Center where they will meet wounded heroes who are awaiting follow-up care after returning to the United States.
