Mike Green Joins Caps on the Fly Nov. 9 at Hilton Garden Inn

ARLINGTON, Va. – The second edition of Caps on the Fly, the Washington Capitals’ monthly, hour-long live broadcast from the Hilton Garden Inn Washington D.C. Downtown, will air Monday, Nov. 9 at 6 p.m., with defenseman Mike Green joining host Mike Vogel. Fans can watch the show live at the Hilton Garden Inn located at 815 14th Street in downtown Washington, D.C., or online at WashingtonCaps.com.
Last season Green became the seventh NHL defenseman to score 30 goals in a season and first to do so while playing fewer than 70 games. The Calgary, Alberta native finished second in voting for the Norris Trophy and was the top vote-getter among defenseman on the NHL First All-Star Team. The 24-year-old Green scored in eight consecutive games in 2008-09 to set the record for an NHL defenseman.
Last month’s premiere show featured vice president and general manager George McPhee and team captain Chris Clark discussing their careers, their roles and the state of the Capitals.
