Capitals Recall Keith Aucoin from Hershey

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Washington Capitals have recalled center Keith Aucoin from the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL), vice president and general manager George McPhee announced today.
 
Aucoin, 31, is a ninth-year pro who stands 5’9”, 162 pounds. The Waltham, Mass., native has 24 points (nine goals, 15 assists) and is a +10 in 19 games with Hershey this season. He ranks tied for seventh in the AHL in scoring, third on the Bears.
 
This is Aucoin’s third recall of the season. Aucoin, who wears No. 20 for Washington, has totaled one goal and four assists in eight games with Washington.
 
Last season Aucoin recorded six points (two goals, four assists) in 12 games with Washington, including five points (two goals, three assists) in the final seven games of the season. He has played in 73 career NHL games with the Capitals and Carolina Hurricanes, recording eight goals and 18 assists.
