Fan Fest Highlights Upcoming Capitals Events

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Washington Capitals will host Fan Fest, presented by GEICO, at Kettler Capitals Iceplex on Saturday, July 14. Fan Fest will be held on the final day of the Capitals Development Camp, which will be held July 9-14 at Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, Va. The entire camp is open to the public (complete on-ice schedule and roster will be announced at a later date) with a scrimmage set for Saturday, July 14, at 10 a.m.
 
In addition to the scrimmage, Fan Fest will feature the team’s annual equipment sale, activities for children of all ages, including a moon bounce, Slapshot cage, an obstacle course, street hockey and airbrush artists and face painters. At the end of the scrimmage, there will be autographs by many of the players who just completed participating in the Development Camp.
 
Season-ticket holders will have the first opportunity to shop at the equipment sale; details on that opportunity will be sent to each account in their planholder update.
