Filip Forsberg added an assist in a 4-3 overtime win over Djurgarden on Oct. 5 but was held pointless the following game against Vasteras on Oct. 9. His 10 points on the season rank tied for seventh in the league while he ranks fifth in goals with six. He leads his team in both goals and points. Forsberg and Leksand will face Orebro HK Friday night (Oct. 12), followed by a matchup with BIK Karlskoga next Wednesday (Oct. 17).
Tom Wilson recorded four assists this week, with two in a loss to Guelph on Oct. 5, and added another two helpers in a 6-3 win over Niagara the following night. His efforts last week more-than-doubled his points total through the first six games of the season as he currently leads Plymouth in points (seven) and assists (five). Wilson also racked up 13 penalty minutes last week, ranking second on the team in that category. Wilson and Plymouth will take on Dale Hunter and the London Knights Friday night (Oct. 12), with another game the following day against Sault Ste. Marie.
