PrintEach year the Mo (slang for moustache) and November come together for Movember, an annual charity event that engages men to grow, and women to support, a Mo for the 30 days of November. The Washington Capitals and the NHL are supporting Movember this month and invite all Caps fans – both male and female – to participate.
Join Caps alumni Yvon Labre, Rod Langway and the Washington Capitals team by registering at http://us.movember.com/team/796065 with a clean-shaven face. Men grow their Mos for 30 days, becoming walking, talking billboards for men’s health and cancer affecting men. Supporters, called Mo Bros and Mo Sistas, get friends, family and colleagues to donate to their efforts along the way.
In the U.S., Movember’s men’s health partners are the Prostate Cancer Foundation and LIVESTRONG.
