Win a Caps Pep Rally at Your School

Help the Caps prepare for the playoffs by showing your team spirit! The Capitals are asking local schools and classes to support the team’s playoff run by making signs to show their Caps spirit. Principals, teachers, students and parents are encouraged to get their schools involved. Email a photo of your class or school with a Caps sign or signs. This could be one huge sign made by the entire school or a class full of students exhibiting their individual signs. Feel free to incorporate unique slogans, Caps memorabilia, player pictures and of course lots of red into your signs and photos. We encourage you to be as creative as you’d like in showing your support for the Capitals.

The Capitals will decide which classes and schools have the most Caps spirit. For each round of the playoffs, one class or school will be selected to receive

• A pep rally that will accommodate up to 100 students at the following five stations:
  • Street hockey scrimmage
  • Accuracy shot station
  • Photo with Slapshot, the team's mascot
  • Banner making station
  • Equipment station
• Caps Stanley Cup Playoff T-shirts for up to 100 students
• A banner made by its students to be displayed above the Capitals practice rink at Kettler Capitals Iceplex

Complete the form below to submit your entry and photo. Photos must be in a .jpg format sized at 640 x 480 pixels. After photos are approved, they will be posted in a photo gallery located on the Community News page on WashingtonCaps.com. The winning class and school will be contacted directly by the Capitals and recognized on WashingtonCaps.com.
