Mites on Ice |
Flag Kids Welcome the players to the ice by forming a fan flag tunnel next to the bench at the beginning of the game. Participants will pump up the crowd when the lights go down by skating a lap with Slapshot before forming the tunnel. Participants are also on ice during the player introductions and the singing of the national anthem. This program is limited to players in the squirt and pee-wee age groups. A total of six skaters are required.

Ice Crew Help the Verizon Center ice crew maintain the playing during TV timeouts. Participants will skate onto the ice and remove excess “snow” from the bench and goal areas as well as get to watch the game from the front row of the Olympia corner. This program is limited to players in the midget and high school age groups. Groups of two or four players are required.
