The Washington Capitals host various Season Ticket Holder Events through out the year. These events are open to all current Season Ticket Holders (based upon availability).
In Season Events
Season Ticket Holder Party
The Full Season Ticket Holder party is the biggest season ticket holder event of the year. Last season’s event took place at Six Flags America and featured roller coasters and other rides, carnival games, player autographs, food and drinks.The 2009-10 full season ticket holder party will return to Six Flags America on October 13, 2009 from 6pm until 10pm.
Season Ticket Holder Skate
The Full Season Ticket Holder skate is an annual favorite that takes place at the Verizon Center. The skate event allows full season planholders an opportunity to skate on the Verizon Center ice following a Caps home game. Bring your skates with you to the game and skate on the same ice as your favorite player.
The date for the 2009-10 season ticket holder skate is still being finalized, so check your planholder updates or the STH Locker Room during the season for an update.
STH Chalk Talks
Once the season starts, keep an eye out for announcements regarding our season ticket holder Chalk Talks. The Chalk Talks take place at the Verizon Center prior to a Caps home game, and feature a guest speaker and Q & A session. Last season’s guests included Capitals Majority Owner Ted Leonsis, NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, Capitals GM George McPhee, Capitals Assistant GM Don Fishman, and Capitals broadcast team Joe Beninati and Craig Laughlin.Offseason Events
Season Ticket Holder Rookie Orientation
Rookie Orientation offers an opportunity for all NEW Full Season Ticket Holders to better understand their Season Ticket benefits and become acquainted with the Guest Services staff. We will hold two orientation sessions, which will be held at the Kettler Capitals Iceplex. The orientations will be followed by a complimentary open skate and refreshments for those in attendance. The RSVP deadline for the 2009-10 season Rookie Orientations was Friday, August 21st.

Season Ticket Holder Summer Skate Events
Break away from the summer heat to cool off at our Full Season Ticket Holder Summer Skate Nights! The Summer Skate Nights are held at Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, Virginia. Due to limited capacity on the ice, we can host a maximum of 300 skaters. We provide skate passes and rentals, snacks and beverages, along with the chance to win great prizes. Dates and times for our Summer Skate events are published in the weekly planholder update, as well as the STH Locker Room.The 2009 Summer Skate Events have passed; please check back here following the 2009-10 season for next summer’s schedule.
Fan Forum Teleconference
The Washington Capitals Fan Forum (teleconference) is an exclusive event for Full Season Ticket Holders with Capitals players, coaches, and personnel, hosted by the radio voice of the Capitals, Steve Kolbe. Dial in to join us and hear what they have to say about the state of the team and the upcoming season. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions to our guests live as well. Previous guests have included General Manager George McPhee, Head Coach Bruce Boudreau, Brooks Laich, and Matt Bradley.Full Season Ticket Holders will receive announcements via email about how to dial into the Fan Forums throughout the year.
