Congratulations to Nathan W. who was the winner of the Caps Kids Club Fan Appreciation Day Contest. Nathan received the Slapshot jersey in the “Jersey Off Our Back” ceremony that took place postgame on April 27. Thank you to all the members that participated in the contest.
Spirit Sign Contest Recap
Congratulations to Ryan P., the winner of the Deluxe Caps Kids Club February Spirit Sign contest! Ryan received the grand prize of two tickets to the Feb. 26 Caps game and a penalty pregame experience. Be sure to check out future contests and events! Caps Kids Day at Verizon Center Recap
Caps Kids Day on February 23 was a blast for everyone in attendance. There were over 300 Kids Club members and guests who came out to participate in all the festivities on the Verizon Center 400-level concourse.
Members were able to enter the arena one hour early to take part in all the games and activities including floor hockey, face painting and trivia. There were even mascots from all over the region roaming the concourse for mascot day.
In addition, there was an exclusive Kids Club deluxe member autograph session with Caps forward Marcus Johansson and alumnus Peter Bondra. To cap off the afternoon, all of the members enjoyed cheering on their Caps as they defeated the New Jersey Devils 5-1, with Alex Ovechkin netting his 11th career Hat Trick.

Deluxe Kids Club Holiday Skating Party Recap
There was a great turnout for the Deluxe Caps Kids Holiday Skating Party on Sunday, Dec. 9 at Kettler Capitals Iceplex. The members and their families enjoyed skating to holiday music and socializing with their fellow club members. Slapshot was even in attendance to participate in the festivities and skated around with the members on the ice and snapped some photos.
