The Washington Capitals at the Verizon Center have sold out consecutive games dating back to 2008-09 (including the playoffs). Our fans are the reason the Verizon Center Rocks the Red all season long. It is important to us that our fans in the Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC area can see their favorite team play at home.

Click on the video below and hear what other Caps fans have to say about their experience as a Caps Season Ticket Holder.

We will not be able to determine how many season tickets if any will be available for new sales for the 2012-13 season until the June/July 2012 timeframe. The following are your options of what you can do to become part of the Washington Capitals family in the future.

By placing a deposit you will be on the priority list for full season tickets for the 2012-13 Season. Your deposit also includes membership to our Last Minute Ticket Club. Season ticket deposit details:
  • $500 per seat
  • 100% payment at time of deposit
  • Fully refundable
  • Can be used towards other ticket products
  • Allocated on first come, first serve basis
As a deposit holder if you choose to use the deposit money toward any other Caps ticketing package product (ex. Partial plan packages, all-inclusive package, etc.) throughout the 2012-13 season, your original place within the deposit order will be held until the end of the 2012-13 season.

Anyone wishing to place a deposit for the 2013-14 season will have the opportunity to do so during our deposit purchase/renewal period starting in March of 2013. If you renew your deposit(s) by the due date, you will retain your priority with the chance of increasing your position. Your priority is always based on the established date of the deposit. Details will be sent in the spring of 2013 regarding the purchase/renewal period for 2013-14 season.

Our process for allocating priority on available future full season tickets will continue to be the following; current full season ticket holders have the first right on open seats, partial plan holders have second priority, and deposit holders have the third priority before available full season seats would ever go the general public.
