Caps fans, the Washington Capitals want you to help us make a difference in the community. Join Caps alumnus Peter Bondra, mascot Slapshot and Red Rockers, along with Comcast SportsNet play-by-play announcer Joe Beninati and anchor/reporter Jill Sorenson and Mix 107.3’s Chilli Amar at the Capital Area Food Bank on Tuesday, Nov. 20. Volunteers are needed from 1-4 p.m. to help pack and sort donated food at the Capital Area Food Bank’s food distribution center.

This is your opportunity to be part of the team! Show the community that you care and give back with the Caps. Space is limited, so don’t wait to register - sign up below. Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email with further details about the project.

Please note that each volunteer must register separately when signing up. All volunteers must be at least 12 years old and any volunteer between the ages of 12 and 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Every volunteer will receive a free Capitals T-shirt at the project.

If you have any questions, please contact Elizabeth Wodatch, executive director of Monumental Sports & Entertainment Foundation, at ewodatch@monumentalsports.com.
