Washington Capitals Fantasy Challenge
HOW TO PLAY1. Select six (6) Forwards, four (4) Defensemen and one (1) Goalie as Starters for your Fantasy Team.
2. Choose which game during the Contest Period to activate all eleven (11) players. Your Fantasy Team will only receive points from the players on the active night. You do not receive points for all games in the Contest Period.
2. Select one player whose score will be doubled (The First Star). That player will earn double points for your team for the Contest Period.
3. Select one (1) Forward, one (1) Defensemen and one (1) Goalie as Reserve Players. In the event that one of the eleven (11) Starters records zero (0) ice time for any reason (doesn’t play and you have them starting), the Reserve Player for that position will automatically activate.
4. Save your lineup. You must save a lineup to complete registration. You will not receive any points unless you have saved a lineup.

- Time on the ice: 0.01 point per minute
- Shot: 0.5 point
- Goal: 5 points
- Assist: 3 points
- Shorthanded Goal: 2.50 points
- Game Winning Goal: 3 points
- Penalty Minutes: -1 point per minute
- 2 Goal Game: 5 points
- Hat Trick: 15 points
Defensemen:
- Time on the ice: 0.01 point per minute
- Shot: 1 point
- Goal: 5 points
- Assist: 3 points
- Shorthanded Goal: 2.5 points
- Game Winning Goal: 3 points
- Penalty Minutes: -1 point per minute
- 2 Goal Game: 5 points
- Hat Trick: 15 points
- Plus Minus: Game Total
Goalies:
- Time on the ice: 0.01 point per minute
- Save: 0.40 point
- Goals Against: -3 points
- Win: 5 points
- Loss: -3 points
- Shut Out: 5 points
